Arterro is one of the newer master planned communities in the beach city of Carlsbad, California. Residents enjoy being close to the La Costa Town Square.
The Arterro subdivision was developed in 2014 by Davidson Communities. These luxury homes have three to six bedrooms, and living spaces that ranges between 3,288 and 4,577 square feet. There are a variety of one and two story houses; many homes reflect a Spanish architectural design. Many homes have spacious backyards and attached garages. Residents do pay a mello roos tax but the Home Owners Association dues are low.
This community is served by the Encinitas Union School District and the San Dieguito Union School District. Students may attend highly rated facilities like Mission Estancia Elementary, Diegueno Middle School, and La Costa Canyon High School. There are several private schools like Halstrom Academy, Sanderling Waldorf School, and St. Patrick’s Catholic School. There are also higher learning facilities nearby such as MiraCosta College and Palomar College.
The S Rancho Santa Fe Road will take you to many businesses, stores, and restaurants. There are many shopping centers like Carlsbad Premium Outlets, Village Faire, and The Shoppes at Arterro. Stagecoach Park is nearby, which was once an actual stagecoach stop. This 28-acre park has a playground and community center. To the east you’ll find La Costa Resort and Spa. And more golf courses are at The Crossings at Carlsbad, Rancho Carlsbad Golf Club, and the Carlsbad Golf Center.
Carlsbad is known as “The Village by the Sea” and is popular with tourists. This upscale resort community is located along a seven mile stretch of coastline. It is 35 miles from San Diego’s downtown district and 87 miles from Los Angeles. Attractions include Legoland California Resort, Sea Life Aquarium, South Carlsbad State Beach campgrounds, and the Museum of Making Noise.
